What is it with Athlons, AGP and Win95?

I have had two AGP cards and one PCI.
Neither of the two AGPs would work right in Win95, but one would in Win2000. The PCI is dandy.
SIII 540 AGP didn't like more than 16 colours. But it likes Win2000.
RAGE FURY MAXX would just bomb out the computer completely when loading windows.
I sniff something odd about my AMD chipset (the 756). My Win95 is OEM with USB support BTW.

756? You must've meant 750.

well.. why use 95 when 98 and ME is available.

Try the right GART drivers.

As strange as it may seem, you must have the version of Win95 that gives USB support for AGP to work.
