Seriously, Anandtech has the stupidest search functions I have ever seen at any forum!

If I go to the FS/FT forum and search for "sodimm", my results will be RAMDOM.

Why aren't they organized by date since it would be more relevant (I don't need to see items sold last july)

Now, if I do an ADVANCED SEARCH FOR "sodimm", I will only get 3 results. WTF!

And this applies to all of the forumsf!

When they finally decide to take action. Which looks like it will be quite some time from now since the search engine has been fvcked up for months.
 
Advanced Search is basically broken; the only things you can search for is stuff in thread titles and summaries. Also, if you go into Advanced Search and tick the checkbox labeled "order search results by date", it will stay that way (even for the quick search in the sidebar, which is the only one that works).
 
I call for a lock on this thread and a lock on any other future threads regarding this immediately!

Why? Even though the chance is slim more people complaining might stir the Devs out of bed.
