What is it about your boss that irritates you?

Let me go down the list:
1. He treats women a lot better than men (no surprise)
2. Motivation and morale doesn't exist in his dictionary
3. nor does positive feedback
4. No interest in making a fun work environment

My boss's girlfriend sold a relatively new Ninja 500 for $1000 -- and I didn't hear about it until it was already sold. 🙁

I have several managers over me, though..I get along fine with most..

1. Still lives in the 70's, and that's a problem when you are in the IT field.

2. He's the cheapest person on earth, period.

My boss does things half-assed sometimes. I work in in a fast food place, and I'm one of her closing supervisors/"managers" (tbh, manager is really an overkill).

We have to do some paperwork in the afternoon for our stores dayshift. Its her duty to get this part done because she opened up the store, and nightshift (mine) finishes up its portion at the end of the night, when we finished with sales and everything. She often leaves things blank or completely screwed up, I have to fix what she screwed up, before I can start mine. When I really want to go home at the end of the day, it gets really aggravating. Even more aggravating when she bitches that I "leave the store so late" (time appears on timecards).

I hate that my boss's daughter (who I met Monday) is smoking hot, but he's a 10+ year Marine currently serving with the national guard, teaching close combat techniques. If I look at her wrong or say hi in a way he doesn't like, I'm afraid he's going to rip my arms out of my sockets and beat me to death with them.

My boss is stuck in the past (IT)
He tells me how to do my job to much, instead of just telling me what to do.

I've spent the last 2 days porting someone elses C# code into VB6 🙁 even though it does not need to be, he just likes it in VB6 better because knows/understands VB6. He insists that Access 97 is THE database to use for everything...I am starting a new project that he knows is gonna need to store 4GB+ of data.... he won't let me use SQL Server even though it is installed on my machine.... His solution, create multiple Access Databases and link them... arg, much pain.

In all fairness a nice guy, good boss when he is not telling me how to do things...he admits he has a problem with that sort of thing...he is just the type of guy who wants to do everything and his IT skills are out of date. Guess that what happens when you go from IT to managment.

1.) Money is more important than people
2.) He thinks he's God
3.) "underlings" aren't people, they're objects that you bark orders at and do things so you can bitch at other people
4.) He's an gigantic tool

Being a total dumbass and not listening to any of the employees.
Now we are all unemployed and the company is out of business.

he doesn't know shiat about the internet (and he's the online manager)
he flip flops up to 3 times per topic per meeting
he's a 'married but flaming' guy
he forwards emails without leaving a note...i never know whether to take action on the email, or if he's just letting me know about a current situation
he'll give me 4 number 1 priority projects and continually ask about them (multiple times per day)

-Has no clue how to make a proper schedule
-Criticizes on inconsequential points
-Creates idiotic and highly inconvenient policies

I believe we work for the same guy! 😉

- Refuses to admit that he's as old as he is.
- Has a bad hair dye job
- Tells the same stories over and over and over and over and over
- Uses spray on tan and looks like an Umpaloompa
- Does NOTHING at work and takes credit
- Refuses to take the heat when he f's up. Which is often.
- Is basically a tool suffering from sever SMS (short man's syndrome)
