that turns me into such a softie?

I loathe chick flicks and you couldn't get a tear outa me even if Meryl Streep was at her best. Nevertheless, there is something about baseball movies that always gets my emotions going. I just saw The Rookie and when Jimmy Morris got called up to the majors I almost lost it. Back when I saw For Love of the Game I got past the fact that Kevin Kostner was in it and practically bawled my brains out. Field of Dreams, The Natural, etc... just can't keep the dam eyes dry...

And Baseketball? Fughedaboutitt!

i love baseball movies...i havent seen the rookie yet

Field of Dreams was always my favorite, but i think 61* might be now...the Natural and Bull Durahm are up there too

wasnt a fan of For the Love of the Game though

61* left me cold but I liked Rookie, too. I know what you mean about getting all teary-eyed - er, not that I'd admit it to anyone.
