What is Intel's Vanderpool technology? Why is Vanderpool technology so important to the Nocona launch?

I still don't get the big deal. So they can split time with two OS's, so what? I can do it now with VMWARE. So whats the advantage to Vanderpool?

It'll allow one processor to drive separate devices... One example would be the ability to display a video on TV while working on a monitor, without flaw. If the person working needed to reboot the OS (or whatever), the video would remain uninterrupted.

It's quite a significant technology for the "digital home".
