Reading OT posts make me wonder what most people have in their mind. It seems like a lot of males just want to screw as many hot chicks as possible. That to me sounds extremely shallow and unfortunately that is pretty much what the culture promotes: have sex with as many chicks as possible (or guys), get wasted every night in college and somehow get a job at a corporation and make big bucks while playing golf, etc.

I mean, what ever happened to saving the world and making a difference? The movie stars we "look up" to, is that what people really want to do with their lives, or is that an illusion in their bubbly dream of becoming a hollywood star with fake boobs and plastic surgery?

It's called the "men in groups" phenomenon. In large environments - males usually act out in ways that make them seem more machismo. Making posts that are centric to sex is a large part of it.

it depends on how you see things i guess, i want to look back say, 50 years from now and see that i've accomplished something. owning a corporation doesn't really mean much to me for some reason.

For sure I wouldn't have chosen to be a Zoology major if I wanted to make ALOT of money. As for the having sex with alot of girls... Let's just put it this way, I've been with the same girl for all my years in college.
