Neighbor told me yesterday that in his rain gauge, we had gotten almost 5" of rain since NYE...and over 13" during December.

Now you can't tell the difference between yesterday and today. It's nuts. Current doppler radar image. It will get worse by the hour.

We got a bit over 4" in all of 2020.

When I moved to the Bay Area from SoCal years ago, my wife told me that its super green and rains all the time. That was a lie. Also the start of a historic drought in Cali.

Still a very dry year here despite us getting the tail end of the atmo river.

It's been a week of Rainfall Warnings up here, just outside Vancouver, BC. 60mm/2.5ish inches expected today. The volumes are abnormal, but water constantly falling from the sky is perfectly normal this time of year.

My wife and I went down there in October. There was a nice storm but it didn't look like that.
