I considered the possibility that perhaps Bobby, at age 74, was taking one for his son who has been criticized for his team's lack of success.

But I think the truth is just that Chris Rix sucks.

The worst part is he's got at least one more season at FSU, and that f'ing idiot Bowden is probably going to start him. :disgust:

Wow, what a bunch of sad games for me to watch.

FSU, in my opinon, wasn't as good this year. And as someone else pointed out already, Chris Rix isn't that good.

Miami, is in the same boat, bad quarterback cost them the game, and they were lucky to win the other close games. Perhaps it's time to change. Oh by the way, I noticed Winslow's apology was quite different in style compare to the lockerroom outburst, perhaps he's got a speech writer? 🙂

VT, what can I say? Their QB is better, but inexperienced. The team is good, and would deserve their high ranking IF they're more consistent. In this game, I think the defense forgot to show up.

Miami still have a chance of winning the Big East title, if they win the next three.

I'll post my bowl predictions after the BCS comes out.

Are you blind? Did you see the press conference after the game? Bobby is pretty fed up with Clemson. He doesn't like how we have treated his wonderful son. He wanted to beat the crap out of us.

We just had a better game plan and Tommy Bowden for the first time in his Clemson career got the players ready for a team that was supposed to dominate us.

Bobby didn't take one for his son. He had a chance at another NC. He wouldn't give that up so that his son wouldn't get fired from Clemson. Tommy would have found a job regardless of what happened in Clemson so there was no reason for Bobby to want to lose it.
