I just installed Mother board monitor 5 and went to check my CPU temps. MBM 5 says my CPU is running at 127C (yes, celsius, not Farenheit). I immediatly restarted computer and went into the BIOS which said my cpu temp was 39C. Is this some sort of error or what? can a CPU even run at 127C stably (My system is running perfectly stable, left on all of last night without a problem)? could my CPU drop from 127C to 39C in less than a minute (as I went from windows desktop to BIOS temp setting? I am not overclocking anything, and have a stock HS on the CPU. Here is my system.

Lian-Li PCB-7 case w/ 3 fans

No it cant run at 127C, you picked the wrong board or sensor type. That is a pretty stupid question, no offense.

Since the system is running fine, I would suspect MBM reading is erroneous. I wouldn't worry about it. You can try other mobo monitor software to see if the error is on the MBM software or on the probe.

127 is the maximum mbm can read... IE, it is getting no reading. select your motherboard type in the wizard.
