For my two cents it is either all or none.

Agreed, though I tend towards none at government places and all on private property. There really needs to be a separation between the two. It's arguably the most important aspect of our foundation.

IMO, if anyone wants to put up a religious symbol, they should be allowed to do so. If someone wants a nativity, cool. A menorah, great. If other religions want their symbols put up, then tell them to go for it. This goes for government institutions as well. If these symbols offend people, remind them that this is America and we are a conglomeration of cultures, so learn to get along.

This way, the government is not endorsing any single religion. Instead, the cultures of the people are reflected by the government's portrayal of all. Isn't this how it should be?

Summary:
private property: allow all
government property: allow all
Therefore: no restriction (aka freedom)

Does my logic/flogic (flawed logic) make sense to anyone but me?:confused:
