what is GO / G0 stepping on core2 quad?

Supposed to run a little cooler and overclock a little more than the previous stepping.

stepping is basically a hardware version. They make slightly modifications to the manufacturing process and give it a new "stepping" but keep the same name. The G0 stepping overclocked better and runs a little cooler then the version before it, as mustiso said.
