I'm wondering what could cause a freezing in my computer. Like at desktop or when my computer boots up. Thanks for helping my curiosity =)

We need more details.

Im up here in the Midwest so it's cold nowadays =P.

To be honest, Im having problems with a game of mine. GTA IV to be more precise. I know there are alot of problems out there having to deal with this game but I am having a problem playing the game while it freezes in minutes but goes back to normal after those minutes. Like I change the radio station in a car, it takes 10 minutes for the computer to know that Im changing a radio station. Plus the level stops loading after it loads a new radio station, so I have Blocks to drive on instead of a road and a side walk. Gr

Generally speaking, a freeze or lockup is a computer crash caused by a collision whereby software or hardware, or both attempt to use the same memory address, This can happen due to a lack of processer memory or video memory. Your case would seem to indicate a software problem associated with that game,
