I have a question about overclocking my 2.4C. What is faster, 270fsb(3.24ghz) with ram at 1:1 or 284fsb(3.4ghz) with ram at 5:4?
 
If you can get tight 2-2-2 timings at 5:4 vs something like 3-3-3 timings at 1:1, I'd take the 5:4 settings.

The latter. 160mhz should more than make up for loss of 1:1 in most instances (perhaps not in 3dmark 2001). You can also try to tighten up the timings since your ram will be running at lower frequency.
