what is faster and cooler xp or barton?

I have two very nice xp 2100 (week 249 and 302) both oc very well at around 2.3ghz. They are in a kt400 boards, at7max2's I have a soyo kt400 coming and need to get another cpu. I have not used any of the bartons and am wondering if i get a barton 2500 and oc it, will it be faster than the xp2100's i have?

Also, which runs cooler. I use the antec cases by the way.

I had a FIC AN19E, KT400 based motherboard, and (with a bios update) it ran the 2500+ at 166fsb with no problems.

on average, the barton is 3-4% faster than the throughbred at the same clock speed

the barton may run slightly cooler since the surface area of the die is larger
