I was thinking about going to together as one again, but no one to go with. :( My friends from norcal aren't visiting this year and I'm so lost w/o them.

I'm driving up with Chelsea to Seattle to see her cousin and a friend of hers. Then we're driving over to Spokane to see my sister. Then we're coming home. We leave here Monday night, spend Tuesday in Seattle, leave Tuesday night for Spokane, and come home Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Wow! Somebody else has the same wild New Years Eve plans I do. My wife gets mad at me because I usually fall asleep between 10 and 11. We used to do the party and event scene, but we got sick of being tired and/or hung over all day on New Years and not really enjoying it.

My home station is Davis-Monthan A.F.B. in Tucson. Currently I'm on TDY (Temporary Duty) in Qatar. It's a little peninsula(sp?) that border the U.A.E. Hopefully I'll be gettin the fsck outta here around the Feb-Mar timeframe.

Until then, at least I have AnandTech! This place has seen me through 4 other deployments.

Usually because I begin thinking about all of the money I'm NOT spending and what kind of new computer I want to build when I get back. Of course I do most of my homework here finding out what's hot and what's not! ;)

We at least this year and last year just stay from Christmas till New Years with the in-laws. Usually pick up a couple of platters and a bunch of munchies from Sams club and Schnucks. Invite some of the wifes and in-laws friends over. Play some games, watch the ball drop. Nothing too exciting but still pretty fun.

Where we live though there is one of those first night celbrations not too far away. If we aren't here again next year we'll probably go to that.
