z0mb13

I tried skiing once, snowboarding once..

was terrible at both

want to try again this weekend at lake tahoe.. so.. which one is easier to learn?

I have never boarded, but have skiied since the 80's.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have talked to who has skiied and boarded, quit skiing, and now snowboards. I would try boarding.

I'm in that group... I did skiing only for 6-8 years, then switched to snowboarding in 1994 and haven't gone skiing one time since.

Speed Skiing is probably the hardest to learn and most dangerous. Going over 100mph means almost any mistake will be your last.

which resort are you going in tahoe?

not sure yet, probably heavenly

i only been there once, i usually ski @ sierra-at-tahoe, seems less crowded, cheaper and just as good.

but it's all good, you don't have to drive that far, it's just there.

only if you slide into some trees

ive fallen at some pretty insae speeds doing Super G and DH, as long as you dont hit anything you are find and its actually kinda fun

Skiing can get u laid, if u decide to turn to snowblades 😉. Skiing is waaaay easier than snowboarding, but snowboarding is much better...

i've fallen at fast speed too, but my legs were in a bad position, so i was slow getting up, then a kid slammed into me. that hurt.... happend at Heavenly too.

Better as in u learn tricks easier, u have more stability if u no how to snowboard, and u can kick the crap out of ur skiing friend with ur board goin up the hill 😀
