What is done about vulgar language?

After reading the thread, I'll have to side with key's on this one. How could you expect your posts to do nothing but provoke a negative response? I'd be pissed about the situation if I were him, and it was pretty evident by the time you posted what kind of response you would get especially after calling him a whiner more than once. Hopefully his thread kept a few folks from buying cards from there, I'm not sure why you felt compelled to post and then cry about it here.

Myself, I would named GameVe in the thread title, as I think they are ultimately the responsible party, but his thread has merit, and your posts are somewhat inflammatory considering the thread content IMHO.

I disagree, his wording was blaming every single person who has flashed a BIOS whether successful or not. He's blaming ME because I flashed MY BIOS successfully? So who was being inflamatory first? He was. Calling him a whiner is not vulgar. Calling me a Bastard is. I would be pissed to, if I received a defective card from GameVE, but he has absolutely ZERO proof that it was flashed, yet he blames everyone for it.

I flashed my V3 2000 PCI once, and didn't feel like he was blaming me. You say he has zero proof, yet in his initial post he says So thanks to a BFG tech and a little boot disk, my card showed an altered bios so I guess you're just calling him a liar now also. Your first post in the thread, was the first negative post in the thread, and its on the second page. You'll have to point out where he blames you specifically, I don't see it. You seem to be taking this unaturally personally for whatever reason.

And ass means donkey, but if I call you an ass, it doesn't mean I'm calling you a donkey. I agree that bastard is not vulgar, but the dictionary is pretty useless in the argument.

And although not vulgar, it is inflammatory, insulting, etc etc. It's the thought that counts. 😉

Just replying to the topic.😉

And as for the ass thing...
I always thought I was being called a stupid animal, not a body part.
New light has been shed.

Well discussions on the definitions of vulgar words isn't much better is it? 😉

n00b, and already breaking the rules. Do you really believe no one knew how to do that? We don't do it because a) It's against the rules, and b) it serves no purpose and will only get you banned for circumventing the filter.
