I am looking for a HDTV but I also want to use it as a computer display occationally.
But I am confused about the DishDVI.
Can I just connect it to the DVI port of my videocard?

Check what the port looks like. I'm not too sure about which uses which, but there is a difference between DVI-Analouge and DVI-Digital, but I have no idea what it is. Also, you can get a VGA-component video adapter for about 10$, this works dandy with cheaper HDTV's such as the Samsung CRT models.
