I am looking at the MSI ti vivo and was wondering what the difference between them is. Where does the 4800 fit with the 4600 and the 4200. I understand the diff between the 4200 and 4600 but not sure about the 4800.

The 4800 is a 4200 w/AGP8X, the SE model of the 4800 uses lower clocked RAM.

Uh..no. Shady has it right.

4800 = 4600 w/ agp 8x
4800se = 4400 w/ agp 8x
4200-8x = 4200 w/ agp 8x

Basically a ti4200 is just slower clocked than a 4600 or 4800. Btw, agp 8x is unecessary, so don't pay any extra for it.

4200 8x = 250mhz (gpu) 512mhz (memory)
4800se = 275mhz (gpu) 550mhz (memory)
4800 = 300mhz (gpu) 650mhz (memory)

When you consider that my MSI GF4 Ti4200 8x has always been overclocked from it's stock speed of 250/512 to 275/550 there is really no point in spending extra cash on the 4800se imo.
