What is difference between Samsung D die and E die ? I want to know which one is better between these two DDR4 2133 ECC Reg memory.

M393A2G40DB0-CPB (D-die)

M393A2G40EB1-CPB (E-die)

D-die successfully overclocks to 2666Mhz from 2133mhz on X99 mobo. E-die not tested yet.
 
E-die is older and harder to overclock than B-die, but it's still generally superior to D-die. E-die seems to have been used on some lower-density DIMMs though which is why I don't take it seriously. B-die or bust. D-die shows up in all kinds of densities.
