Im still running my NF7-s and was thinking about doing a platform upgrade. I have been very happy with the nForce 2, so I thought Id go with the nF3 chipset.

I cannot seem to find much in the way of reviews on the Abit NF8. Is it not considered a good mobo?

Beyond that, what boards are considered the best for o/cing and stability.

thx in advance

I remember going into CompUSA looking for a S754 motherboard for my 3000+. Some dude tried to sell me that Abit NF8 for $150. I was like no thank you and gotten a DFI LanParty UT nF3 250GB instead. Very solid board and great for overclocking. Id recommend it in a heart beat:)

I have been eyeballing the NF8 myself but my Soltek board has been so great I've not been able to move away from it. Have you checked out the Soltek K8AN2E-GR? It's pretty cheap but it is truly awesome if s754 is the way you're going to go.

Ive never run a Soltek board. How is it for o/cing? What problems do you have with it, if any?
And does it have holes around the socket? I watercool.
