The very first screen reads: BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR. And it prompts to insert a system disk in floppy A. Would someone help me?
FIC KT133a board (AZ11EA)
Duron (not Morgan) 950 MHz
TNT2 Ultra GPA
IBM 45GB hard disk
128 + 256 MB generic memory (7.5 ns) set to default (SPD?), no interleave,
The system used to work. A few days ago I turned the computer off, and now I get that CHECKSUM ERROR screen. When it was running,
FSB=133
CPU multiplier 7X (for basically 950 MHz)
I replaced the IBM hard disk with a Seagate (removed from a working computer). No change.
Thanks.
