What is "CB monitor"

One of our users got a "cb monitor did not quit properly" sort of error message. What is CB Monitor?

the error is due to unused NIC's or to many... The W2K3 TS was with 3 nic's, after disabeling unused nic's everything work 's fine.. the error disappered..

yeah, I stumbled across that too. Didn't really help though. There's only one NIC in that computer, an "HP NC7760 gigabit server adapter".
