Whenever I download from bittorents. my downloads go very very slow, and I've tried hundreds of torrents. I've also tried azureus, torrentstorm and bittornado. But surfing the web or downloading from any page is fast.

Help?

Likely, the proper parts are not opened. 6881 is the default, I believe, that that can be changed. You'd have to check your router settings and client settings.

Hmm?

Do you have DSL? Likely your DSL modem has a built in NAT firewall. To get around this, you'll have to plug your system directly into the DSL modem, bypassing the router entirely, and access the modem's configuration to open the port. There is a good bet you will need yoru username and password to access the modem's configuration. Your DSL company should have provided those, although they do like to be stingy with that information because its easy to bork your connection if you don't know what you are doing.
