Don't really know about the core differences, I'll look them up for you, but if you can afford it, take the Deluxe... :)

Differences:

A8N-SLI:

- NV RAID (4 SATA and 2 PATA controllers on the nForce chipset)...
- nForce4 built-in Gb LAN...

A8N-SLI Deluxe:

- Dual RAID (4 SATA and 2 PATA controllers on the nForce chipset, and the same on an additional Silicon Image Controller)...
- Dual Gb LAN ports (nForce4 and Marvell PCI one)..
- More accessories...

Similarities:

They both mention X2 support, have SATA II, NV FireWall and NV ActiveArmor, FireWire, RealTek ALC850 sound, 10 USB ports etc...

Don't have A8N-SLI, but A8N-SLI Deluxe has problem with chipset fan. It will die sooner than you expect.

They both support X2

Newegg can be wrong. Check Asus's website. The Deluxe has a number of issues. Stick w/ the reg A8N-SLI or get the premium.
