What is better? Ryzen 6900HS and RTX 3060 120w TDP vs Ryzen 5900HS and RTX 3080 at 80w-100w TDP

Hi guys, I am currently choosing between two laptops that have these specs:

Ryzen 6900HS and RTX 3060 120w TDP

vs.

Ryzen 5900HS and RTX 3080 at 80w-100w TDP

What is the better choice in terms of gaming performance?

There are a lot of youtube comparisons between the rtx 3 series. This one's the most useful that I found, but it has annoying robovoices.

I suspect the 5900 + 3080 8GB/16GB will do better in most games. The 6GB vram on the 3060 limits it in many of the newer games, and the 3080 100w still does more TFlops than the 3060 120w.
I don't know where you're getting these laptops that a 3080 would be anywhere close to the same price as a 3060 though... For the most part, the performance per dollar of the 3060/3070 should be vastly superior to the 3080. 3080 Laptops tend to be $1800+ whereas 3060 laptops can be had for ~$800-$1200 and 3070 ~$1100-1500.
