what is better pure SSD or SRT Caching on a new build

I know the 128gb are going for around $250.. expensive but not too overkill. Most of my PCs are 1tb caviar black or the Hitachi 7k3000 7200rpm drives as main C drive with a D: partition. I was thinking of using either a SRT [a 32gb- to up 64gb SSD drive for caching + a WD Black Caviar drive 1.5TB}. After calculating costs, blah... the price of turning to a purely SSD is not so bad. Problem is with Photoshop, MS office... all those will fill up pretty quick even if I install all those bloatware in the other regular SATA drive. Still when installing like MS Office 2007-2010, it still installs bits and pieces in the Main C drive... like Adobe.. Suggestions?

think of getting:
i7 2600k
16gb ddr3
Matx z68 mobo [not sure which one but one with tons of sata3 connections]
GTX 560 or ATI 6000 series
cosair H60
ATX 850
a few deskstar 3tb 7200rpm
etc..

yep. This is just an interim for those need very large OS volumes or that can't afford the same capacity in an SSD. Hybrid drives are good but still not "all SSD" in benefit.
