What is better cms or lms?

Hi everybody. I guess it is the right place to ask. I want to make my own web site.

So,I keep in my mind benefits using LMS instead of CMS, maybe the main plus is that the systemic nature of an LMS does not limit its functionality instead of a several CMS.

So the question is, I'm ok with Wordpress ( but I use it not often) and Joomla ( which I prefer to use), I found this one LMS (which is similar to desktop Joomla) and wanna try it, what problems with install may I have?
