Yes it is an FX. This is a legit post ... where I am asking which of two cards are better. I happen to have both on my hands and I want to know which one is better for games.
 
No.. I just was out of the loop for a while... I know the 4400 has a much higher fill rate and mem clock.. but I just wanted to be sure..

Im building a budget machine for my buddy and had both cards lying around. Thankfully, we got the 5500 for about $30 on black friday.
