XP's firewall doesn't provide any outgoing connection blocking, only incoming.

I like Zonealarm, but right now I use Wingate's firewall in the Extended Networking plugin. I didn't like XP's too much, but I run Win2K now anyway.

I've always used Zonealarm on Windows boxes because it's free and bi-directional and works.
For business I'd use CheckPoint Firewall-1 or dedicated Linux/iptables. Firewall-1 is expensive as hell but is excellent, Linux/iptables is free and excellent but the firewall admin needs to know iptables.

i have been using Tiny Personal Firewall 2.0.15a for awhile now, never have a need for upgrading......
i like it.

I use to have ZoneAlarm, but i ran into some problems with it. Every once-in-awhile it would like my network connection...
