What is axial flow???

Pabst advertises 120 and smaller case fans that they say are axial flow. I don't know what they mean. all fans will either push or pull air depending on how they are mounted right? What's with "axial flow"?

Axial flow means the fan pushes air in the direction of the fan axis (i.e. the direction the fan's pointed). This is how most fans work. However, there are also radial fans, which force air sideways (away from the center of the fan, or radially).

Didn't they used to make beer? Three rings - purity, body, and flavor -Pabst Blue Ribbon? You can't get that anymore I don't believe.

papst probaly just puts it there to specify it.

papsts makes fans, and motors. they sued all the hard drive manufacturers for some ridiculous patent btw. papst blows.

No, PBR is definitely still around, along with Pabst Genuine Draft, Pabst Lite, and regular Pabst (maybe one other variety as well). I wouldn't be too surprised if it were the same company, as the same designs used for fan blades are used in impellers for mixing fluids (e.g. beer), so the technology transfer should be pretty simple. Or, it could just be a coincidence. 😛
