sprint - voice to talk (like nextel's 2 way radio)
cingular - roll over minutes, that cradle that forwards all of your calls to your house for, like, $3/month
verizon - voice to talk, reliable coverage
t-mobile - really good plans, cheap phones, and something about unlimited data connectivity, iirc
