What is an egg substitute in a cake?

melted cheese

I have a very good recipe for a cake made without milk and eggs, just with bananas.

* 4 moshed bananas
* 2 1/2 dl sugar
* 3 tsk. vanilla sugar
* 2 tsk. baking powder
* 3 dl flour
* 2 tsk. cinamon
* 2 tsk. Green Cardamom
* a bit of water

add stuff like frozen rasberries, chocolate chips, nuts or whatever you feel like.

Just buy/order a vegan cake? My daughter is allergic to eggs. Even egg "substitutes" give her a reaction.

Try going to a organic/healthfood grocery store. Lots of times they will have vegan mixes and stuff like that.

Tips for Managing an Egg Allergy

Baking
For each egg, substitute one of the following in recipes:

* 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 T. liquid, 1 T. vinegar
* 1 tsp. yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
* 1 1/2 T. water, 1 1/2 T. oil, 1 tsp. baking powder
* 1 packet gelatin, 2 T. warm water. Do not mix until ready to use.

These substitutes work well when baking from scratch and substituting 1 to 3 eggs.
