ATX is a case, power sup. and mainboard layout standard. You dont get ATX just by slamming a few connectors on a slot cover

Only certain MBs use this. If you see a MB that say it's both AT and ATX, it basicaly is a AT MB that can be converted into a ATX MB via a form card. These MB also have both AT and ATX power connectors.

PCCHIPS boards are famous (or infamous) for using this.

As Gunbuster said, new & improved io does not make a mb atx. Atx also relates to other things, most notably, power. You can add all sorts of stuff via a pci card, but you can't make a mb atx.

I don't think some of you looked at the piksher very closely. That is a 'dongle', or a form card that plugs into a receptacle on a mobo that has the feature connector. I had to get one for a SIS mobo that I built for a friend. There are many different ones out there, and your board has to have the connector for it/them to plug into. Sometimes you get the card as part of the mobo box set, other times it's a separate card. Works fine tho.
