what is an ATI 8500 AIW equivalent to?

thinking about getting an all in wonder model, and I can't afford the 9700 AIW when it comes out.

so I'm wondering, what would consider the 128MB AIW 8500 similar to from Nvidia?
geforce 4 4200? 4600? a geforce3?

Assuming your referring to the AIW Radeon 8500 and not the AIW R8500DV, then it performs identically to the reg 275/275 Retail R8500.

In other words it's roughly between a GF3 Ti500 and GF4 Ti4200 in performance.

The DV is basically the other AIW 8500, except it's clocked at 230/190 i believe, and has Firewire as well as a digital tuner box. It's much slower than the 275/275 cards but has firewire
