Audio/Modem Riser

It's for adding cheap, highly CPU dependent soundcards or modems. I haven't seen any available to end users, but supposedly OEMs can use them to save money. for you, it'll most likely be an unused slot.

AMR= a worthless addition to the MOBO so OEM'S could add even more worthless modems and/or audio cards at virtually no cost.

ive seen a couple at work, in barebone system and the compusa homeseries systems used them... yes they are crap but.. a modem is a modem least its not taking a pci slot away heh
