Hi,
Some people can access my website on my server and a few cant... could this be to the lack of an AAAA-Record? Are these records necessary? If so, what is the proper format for an AAAA-Record if my IP is 65.120.110.97? Is there a website that converts this to the right format?
Thanks!

I believe a AAAA record is for IP version 6. It shouldn't have anything to do with folks getting to your website. All they need is an A record for your fully qualified host name (ie www.mydomain.com)

What are your symptoms?

I have update my nameserver IP and domain name nameserver weeks ago but some people still cant get to my site.. What happens is that you type in the address and IE seaches for about 10 seconds or so and then comes back with an error.. Think the ISP's simply havent updated their DNS in a long time?

check the time to live on NS record for your domain. it is measured in seconds. This provides any and all caching name servers (most) with a "trust this NS for this long" timer.

Could very well be that folks are caching the wrong info. But a few weeks is pretty long. Generally when you make a nameserver change for a domain you'd drop the TTL to very low, say one hour.

Thanks for the info though, the fact that you changed name servers makes a big difference in troubleshooting!!! Have the trouble people nslookup your web server and make sure they get a good IP address.
