So I'm a Y(born in 83)? I don't get it. How come all those stupid clothing manufactures making Generation X clothing for teens?

Ok, I loved transformers and GI Joe as a killed and I loathed power rangers so :p I did like the turtles, but come on, who doesn't like a big rat that can kick some robot ass. My favorite show as a kid was Ghostbusters though, I loved that.

Isn't the new generation known as Generation D? "D" for Digital I think.. Although I could think of many better words to describe them..

Please don't put Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers in the same sentence.

Hmm... I was born in '84 and liked Trandformers, TMNT, and G.I. Joe... :p

If it's people born between 61-81 that means there are a lot of kids running around that are the same generation as their parents.

It would make more sense if Gen X was between 1969 and 1979. I think the generation after X is called the "echo" generation, well that's what my professor told me. It has something to do with birth rates being higher than X and less than Baby Boomers.

I think SackOfAllTrades might be right, cuz I remember someone telling me I was in the last year of GenX, and I was borned in 1979

if the cut off is 81, why are we (in school) always characterized as gen X? me being born in 82. And yeah, the TMNT and Transformers are/were cool. None of that 3d beast wars junk. did anyone happen to catch tom hanks on leno *trying* to sing the transformers theme song? heh.
