All I know is I was browing the Gotwoot.net forums all day, and now ATOT looks exactly the same.

I thought my eyes were brizoken at first.

And the boards looked fine in my Opera before. Hmm...

And the new forum software tells me my sig is too long, haha.

Ehhh, old style was better, but like always everyone comes around and ends up to like it...

The only thing that i don't REALLY like is... Report to mod.. Report to mod.. Report to mod..

On every line..

That will really bring out the snitches.

:p

Alright, all bellyaching put aside for the time being, perhaps this can be put in perspective.

What is actually new and improved, other than the color scheme/layout?

You think the colour is improved? Jesus.

People were upset the last time Fusetalk underwent a major overhaul, IIRC. Calling for the old forum back and making fun of the color scheme/layout.

Give this time and people will accept it.

Agreed. Fusetalk is taking steps back and looking less professional. Vbulletin and invsion are improving and moving forward

I'm bitching about not being able to pay; my subscriber account ran out 2 days ago :(

I do, when something I like catches my eye. Put more dually stuff in the ad rotation and you'll get more hits from my system. ;)

Looks like it's been removed, if only in one form or another. Personally, I think there is tremendous value in being able to report a particular post to a mod. I'm not sure how hairy it makes things for the mods, but there's value there. Suppose my vote would be a report to moderator button.

Accepting it and liking it are two different things. I have accepted the look of the forums, but I do not like them. I did not like the change last time they upgraded the system. But I accepted the change.

If any argument should be made to the ones upset, it should be that they have no power or control, and no matter how much they post things will not change. :(

Try out the search now. That seems to be quite improved.

I notice now, that the nitwits who can't bother to trim insanely long quote trees, no longer cause the window to scroll right to left. There's a huge plus. Only thing better would be to get rid of the damn quote button altogether!

Well there's one substantial group of people who are never going to come around to accepting it - and that's those on dial-up. There's still a substantial number of them and trying to navigate the forums now has got to be a near impossibility for them. Sometimes less really is more.

Why would those on dial-up have a harder time navigating the new forums? gzip compression makes the amount of html nearly irrelevant.
