Just got my new gaming rig. I am running an XP2000+ on a Asus A7S3333
in an Enermax case - video card is supposed hot running Chaintech GF4-Ti4600,
only 1 40 gb HD a single CD Drive.
The case is definately noisier than my old dell. There is one fan on the side
front left of the case, one in the back, and one on the powersupply in the back.
Airflow holes exist on the lower portion of both case sides and running up
along the drives on both sides of the case.
1. Monitoring MB and CPU temp using Asus PC Prob and sitting idle
( running a 2 pc network ) the temp reads CPU 44 c / 111 f, MB 29 c / 84 f .
What is an exceptable range once the PC is in action - say for gaming?
I don't plan on overclocking at this time - at least not yet.
2. I think the fan sizes are 80 millimeters - what are the best/quietest fans
available.
Here is my case :
Enermax Mid Tower
It says it comes with one case fan, but I saw 2 or 3 installed ( again 1 side and 1 or 2 in the back ).
Thanks,
Myles
