what is a weight saver??

Ok, so Im looking at teh Compaq 2800 laptop. They say the weight is "just under 5.7 lbs" and "5.4lbs w/ weightsaver." NOw wtf is a weightsaver? I have no idea. someone please enlighten. also, anybody know the exact weight of this bad boy??

Oh yea. this weight(5.4lbs or whatever); what is this weight based on? Will adding a fast processor/hdd/ramm increase teh weight? by how much?

Weight saver is generally a little plastic piece that replaces the CD-ROM to.....save weight....while traveling.

so when they say 5.4lbs w/ weightsaver, they really wanted to say "5.4lbs w/out CD Drive"??

yes, the weight saver is just a plastic piece, so that you dont have this hole there letting dust into the cdrom bay.
