i've got a friend who's running a stock market proggy on an old compaq lappy, and the proggy will frequently hang with an invalid page fault causing a stack dump....so, like the message title says? thanks, twx2 :)

a stack dump is a listing of everything running in memory at the time of a program crash. windows generates this to help in debugging a program. but unless you have access to the source code of the offending program, all you can really do is send the dump to the techs & wait.
