what is a shared hosting plan and reseller hosting plan

I did a search on webhosting talk search result came back with 50+ post that doesn't directly answer my question. After working all night and 3 hours of sleep I dont really want to dig through the post to find my answer.

Please someone shine some lights on me.

IIRC, shared hosting means you are given an acct and quota on a server with many other people and "share" the server. Reseller hosting means you have options for selling a portion of your allotment on the server. For instance, if you are given 100GB of space and 500GB of bandwidth on a reseller plan, you can sell it to other people in like 100MB portions.

Reseller plans (1000MB/5000MB) start at $59.40/yr which comes with:
WHM (webhosting manager)
cPanel for each of your domains, so each domain would go to www.domain.com/cpanel to login
Email, webmail, FTP, MySQL, PHP, Perl, CGI, etc.
Fantastico auto install scripts
Host unlimited domains, you decide what resources each domain gets.
