What is a "safe" temperature for a Venice CPU? 50C? 55C? 60C? 65C? Since I upgraded from a Tualatin (27C) to a Venice (45C), I just want to know how safe the temps are I am getting when I o/c. Thanks.

Since the AMD spec calls for 65, I think you can feel ' safe ' with 60'ish...

I'm at 48 full load, with my 42 at 2.55 - 1.5v and a ZALMAN CNPS7000B....

Chances are you won't be stable at a high enough clock to break 60..

I was testing at 1.6v 2.6g and it didn't go past 55..

The thing is, you want to be reasonably your temp reading is accurate.. I have a probe on the edge of the IHS... My BIOS reports 80 and more...😀
