What is a raked hand?

a raked hand means that a small % of the pot goes to the casino(or cardroom) hosting the poker table. That small % is called the rake.

What exactly is a raked hand in hold em

A raked hand is a hand where the casino/online site takes part of the pot. Sites take a certain amount of the pot for themselves. If the pot is too small, there is no rake, the larger the pot the larger the rake.

i was looking at online deals and it says you need 250 raked hands to get a bonus.
So what does this mean

you need to participate in 250 real money hands to get said bonus.

ohh thats different. See the flop. That means i must call the blind to get counted as 1

it depends on what the site defines as a played raked hand. If you make a bet, and end up folding pre-flop, I think that counts as participating in a raked hand.

It's almost like you all are speaking in another language. I play poker but not texas hold'em (yet). How different is texas hold'em?

2 cards given face down (you can look at these) . Large and small bling are posted. Betting goes around and you must at least match big blind or fold. After all betting 3 cards are flopped on table for everyone to see. Betting ensues again. Then another card face up. Bettings. Then a 5th card and final betting.

Basically you want to get the best hand of any conbination of your 2 cards and the cards on the table
