Can I use this in a college network?
don't know much about networks...but i need a basic setup if this will do? tia

At the bottom of that page is a link to IBM's site for the product. Looks like it's a sort of dumb terminal that needs an AS/400 server to do anything useful.

If you just wanna get on your college network (assuming you have an ethernet jack in your dorm room), then you'll just need a network interface card for your PC. Nothing very special. You can find decent ones for under 20 bucks.
