What is a "letterhead with qualifications"

I own a construction company and was asked today to fax over a "letterhead with qualifications" by one company and a "company profile" by another. Would someone mind explaining exactly what these are to me? Thanks.

Update: what i'm trying to figure out is whether they want addresses of projects we worked on as "qualifications." Problem here is that this is a new company, so that we can't really give them anything if this is what they want. What i'm trying to do here is get a larger construction company to hire us as sub-contractors.

if its a proposal for a job, just send them some of your previous projects. "company profile" makes me think of financial reports, etc. for some reason.

Letterhead is usually "official" stationary with the company/institution logo. I'm in grad school at UCI, so our letterhead has the official UC seal and all that jazz. It usually goes along the top portion, roughly 2 inches down the page...

If you own your own company, you can just make something up! ;)

And I suppose the "qualifications" part is for you to state why you should be hired for this particular job (or whatever).

Just a guess here, but when we work with construction co's their letterhead seems to have a lot of people's names and their official licenses on it. Gotta have the official licensed people do the work if the inspectors are going to sign off on it.

Company profile is names, dates, experience, qualifications, financial backing, who you know, whatever is important. So that they can tell at a glance what you're good for, and put you in the file in case they ever get a job that you're right for.

why don't you ask them what they're looking for. better to do that then send the wrong info.
