What is a good way to wash down painted walls?

My walls have some nasty scuff marks, handprints etc from moving in. I want to scrub down all the painted walls..any recommended products/solutions to do that with?

For removing scuff marks, a little bit of cleanser (Ajax, Comet) on a wet sponge works wonders.

don't use water if it's builders paint. Clean off as much as you can and paint over with latext paint. Trust me.
