What is a good utility for recovering deleted or lost data?

In the process of "copying" some data from one machine to another over a network, I encountered a power outage and now the files are gone from the original machine and are also not on the 2nd machine.

What is a good utility that will allow me to possibly recover this data from the original machine?

both machines are Win2K NTFS

Try R-Studio or R-Undelete. Supposedly, it's capable of recovering files on formatted drive as well.
