What is a good T-Mobile or unlocked phone for $150 or less?

I think the HTC G1 with Android is too big.
I currently have a Samsung SGh-806 which I like ok.
Having Gmail and Gmaps is a big plus for me.
Web browser would be cool also.

The blackberry phones are pretty nice IMO, and relatively cheap. Gmail and google maps are available, as well as the built in browser and optional Opera browser if you'd rather have that. I have the blackberry pearl and I really like it.

Yeah, the Pearl or the Curve was my mental recommendation too - but I wasn't sure if Gmail or Google maps were on it. I'm glad to hear that they are. The Pearl is well sized, but the Curve has a better keyboard... so if small is more important, then I'd recommend the Pearl.
